 Hello everyone I hope everyone is having a fantastic day or night. I want to start off with a disclosure of that before I look into the website or look at the claims I-write my review and since it's in a foreign language on the bottle, I REALLY went into this blind. But I like to review products and come up with my own decision and see what it really does for me before being told what it's supposed to do for me. So I will get into the claims in a bit but first I am going to touch on what a toner actually is for those who don't know. 

So pretty much if you looked up toner in the dictionary it would tell you that it is an astringent liquid applied to the skin to reduce oiliness and improve the condition of your skin. Toner is supposed to bring your skin back to normal and the acidic state sweeping impurities away and helping your skin absorb your skin care. So basically toner is like primer for your skin care. Toners have been around since the 1900s. They were mostly made up of alcohol in the beginning making them very harsh better known as astringents. Early beauty lovers we're all about the importance of toning, stimulating, or freshening the skin. Those days they would cleanse their skin and follow up with a skin tonic, skin freshener, or an astringent. A couple of the very first companies that toner emerged from came from Coty Eau De Cologne and Elizabeth Arden and some even in the 90s would just be pure alcohol and dry your skin out so bad the teens believed this to be a miracle product if they had acne.

So there are all kinds of toners, the secret is finding one that's right for you. They have came a long way to be very beneficial for your skin depending on what your needs are. I've always loved toner because I feel like it puts back all the important hydration back into my skin. Also I find the best way to use toners are to use your hands!! Squirt into hand, put hands together and immediately press it into your skin. Be very mindful after washing your face to go no longer than one minute after cleansing to put your toner on. 

Most molecules penetrate the skin better when it's wet. Some even do this 7 skin method from K Beauty but that's another story. 

After reviewing this I will give you my thoughts on the website and information they have to see if the claims match up instead of them telling me what I should know. I want to see what it does. 

REVIEW

I think this product would benefit your skin by brightening tightening and smoothing your skin. Also if your sensitive to smells I didn't notice any with this and it played fair with my sensitive skin. 

Bottle looks clean and inviting with a brown see through bottle product but clear with a slight yellow tint. I got 6.76 fluid ounces with a lot of writing I couldn't understand. Once I got to the bottle there was a little bit of English on it (pics shown) I also received a few samples from them along with the toner which was super sweet. Although I would love to review those it was not enough product to do so. 

In all honesty I really can't find anything bad to say about this product except for it wasn't SUPER hydrating but so far so good with this company. They were fast and gave me samples💗

MY FIRST LOOK INSIDE

 Upon opening I see a liquid that's  watery with a light brown/yellow tint. It doesn't say who it's for so I assumed this was for anyone and everyone. When asked how it feels I would say liquidy and it has no smell but on the skin it feels soothing and exfoliating like. I could literally feel dry skin come off.

ANYTHING SPECIAL OR DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS?

 If I notice anything different with this product compared to others I would say I feel like it exfoliates and refreshes my skin while brightening, smoothing, and left my skin glowing, keep in mind I have not looked at the website yet at this point while writing. 

Does it stand out in the crowd? Yes, no matter how good I washed my face even with my Clarisonic, Green Tea Fresh Toner always picks up dirt and oil and remnants of makeup deep in my pores. It's dries quickly which I can appreciate especially when I'm tired and have other things to apply at night and exhausted. It plays very well with other skin care products, especially with a serum and moisturizer. If asked if I could feel a different since I've been using it I would say for the short amount of time my skin is super glowy,... so much and I'm almost mind boggled. Fits easily into my skincare routine. It's not heavy, it's easy to use and has no wear and tear since I've been using it. The amount you may need is very adjustable since it has a plastic stopper causing it not to go too slow or too fast.

 My first thoughts when using this since I did it on the back of my hand was how much it brightened my skin. if there's anything I would say to do with this, I would say to use a moisturizer and a serum with it for full potential and don't forget to use it!! I may try to update long-term on this since I've only used for about 2 weeks but since then I've only used maybe a quarter of an ounce in in about 2 weeks. 

RANDOM

 A different way to use this, my fave, making a facial spray for summer because it feels amazing on skin especially when placed in the refrigerator, although most people would forget to use it if they did that. It doesn't seem like it would leak and would be pretty good to travel with. It feels like it's made of a sort of soft plastic with a screw-on lid and a piece of plastic with a stopper and a pour out hole that makes it controllable while using. 

PERMANENT? 

Do I feel like this is made a way permanently into my routine? Not sure yet but probably during summer if I did. I still want to test it out for at least 3 more weeks and I also do like it and it did fine with my super sensitive skin. I'm pretty harsh on skin care products and am picky, I've rarely came across products I would say are perfect.

I do wish this was more hydrating but do I think people will finish the product? I really do it, makes me glow and I've gotten compliments on my skin lately

SUMMARY 

In summary, Isntree Green Tea Fresh toner is great because of the results I've got in just a short amount of time. I really love when products smell good but can really appreciate when there's no scent because some people are very sensitive to that. Also this product did not make me break out or give me eczema. In my opinion before going to the site to see what claims there are I would say this is definitely worth the money if your looking for your skin to be oil controlled but still want your skin to glow. I would definitely buy this! Although I have combo/dry skin I loved it and KNOW oily skin types would really love this.

THEIR CLAIMS/WEBSITE 

  

So to find out this is for combo/oily skin made so much sense. Honestly though for what it did to my combo/dry skin, I couldn't imagine what it would do for oily/combo!! I really think it makes skin glow in a non greasy way but just clear and BEAUTIFUL. I learned it has green tea in it obviously but it controls access sebum in skin while giving moisture that is needed to keep skin refreshed. The website talks a lot about green grade ingredients and they're great for acute and sensitive skin.      

Comments on this.. I liked this for Summer, but I am skeptical if it would be enough hydration during winter time for MY skin. 

Their website claims that it gives life and vitality to the skin with a refreshing touch with light texture that prevents greasiness by having anti sebum that reduces excess sebum giving moisture that is needed keeping skin refreshed. The green tea used in this product comes from Jeju which according to Isntree is the best place to grow it because of the climate, soils and harvest seasons. They're rich basaltic soils and neutral Bedrock water also helps. It is stated that the product may look dark due to tannin which differs per season. Supposed to be very good to sensitive skin while helping stressed out skin.

They've even done a skin irritation test where they took people and placed product on the skin for 24 hours and placed a patch over area to find out reactions after 1 hour and up to 24 hours on skin and tested the area with their "naked eyes". 

I do wish this was a tad more hydrating but the results are so fantastic so it's worth it for right now.

They also stayed that there's no animal testing💗, natural vegetable ingredients and heavy metal testing. Also their ingredient list is quite friendly, with at least 9 extracts and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, and beta-glucan. Notable ingredients would be vitamin C, tannin, polyphenol, Longleaf pine leaf extract, David Elm root extract, evening primrose extract, arrowroot extract,  pennywort extract, blueberry extract and allantoin. 

Comments- I LOVE these ingredients and feel quite special to be able to put them on my face. Also love the no testing of animals.

States that they refer to the Cosmetics ingredients safety data produced buy a non-governmental environmental organization in Washington USA. So I'm very impressed with this product and yes I would definitely buy it and even trust buying it as a gift for my bffs or fam.

 The shelf life of this is 6 months upon opening.

WRAP-UP

Skincare is NOT a one size fits all, that's probably why I'm obsessed with it.

UPDATE!!!!

Short update from me-I LOVE this, been using this for some time (over a month) and I have just fallen in love it HYDRATES 💧💧💧💧 my skin the PERFECT amount while just making my skin look like a dolls!! I will even use this in the Winter months!!! (Naturally Dry skin then) Paired with a good hydrating moisturizer it's a dream team. (I do a double cleanse with oil and foam every night before) I would say no matter WHAT your skin type is TRY this!!!(who doesn't want to glow) ABSORBS🌧🌞🌧🌞🌞 like a dream and the functionality is there-this just works and gets 4.5/5 from me❤ Fauna approved😙
